I’m inspired by: simple, fleeting moments inspire me the most.

Before m5 I started my career in industry (before desktop publishing) as a “stripper” (get you mind out of the gutter) for a large business forms company. After several years on the production side of the industry, I became a Design Team Lead for one the largest health insurers in the U.S. and led a small (virtual in-house) team of designers/production specialists working on everything print, web, media and event related.

Since m5 I provide my design and production support skills primarily for the U.S. clients though, on occasion, I do pitch-in assist in any overflow from the Canadian offices. I’ve been thrilled with the diversity in the clients, working on everything from broadcasting event materials, communication company direct mail/promotion materials, assisted living collateral materials, including web and multi-media. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the best Art Directors in the business. I strive to learn something new every day, and m5 has helped me do just that.

Outside of m5 I am a novice woodworker. Working along side of my 86-year old dad in his woodshop in southern NH, I design and build long board skateboards for friends and family. I’m an “old school” snowboarder and was an instructor back in the 80’s when the sport was budding. I’m a bit of a WWII geek (primarily aircraft). I enjoy playing guitar, drums and a bit of keyboard (I’m a hack, but hey, it’s “therapy”).
