Maple League of Universities

AN EXTRAORDINARY WAY OF LEARNING

Maple League Classroom
CHALLENGE

Across Canada, small liberal arts, undergraduate universities were all facing similar challenges. Parents and influencers were seeing less value in the type of university experience offered by their institutions. Many students were gravitating to larger campuses and professional programs. Enrollment was in decline.

UNDERSTANDING

They realized that by working together they could make the case for a degree in liberal arts, and the experience that comes from their university towns. The concept of the Maple League was born. m5 was a natural fit to bring this idea to life, having just launched the new brand for Acadia University, and achieved a 25% increase in first year enrollment. We know that a common brand and common voice was needed to help pool the resources of the partners.

INSPIRATION POINT

Much like our approach to Acadia, it was important for the Maple League to own their differences and not try to be something they’re not. They offer each offer a unique, small town university experience that is rare these days. And your time their will set the foundation for a life that is different from most. That’s why we see the Maple League as An extraordinary way of learning.
