m5 Marketing Honored with International Recognition for Marketing Excellence

How do you attract qualified people to one of the toughest and most stressful jobs in public service?  That was the assignment m5 Marketing based in the state was handed by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.

The result?  A campaign that reversed a multiyear shortage of qualified corrections officers and has gained m5 Marketing an international award for effective marketing excellence.

2019 Hermes GoldM5 Marketing, a multiple award-winning marketing, research and communications firm, has been awarded the Gold Hermes Award in the Electronic, Social and Interactive Media category for its impactful recruitment campaign on behalf of the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.

The Department of Corrections turned to m5 Marketing to address a critical shortage in Corrections Officers that was causing issued with rising overtime costs and staff retention. The number of applications had steadily declined, and a wave of retirements was approaching.

The m5 multi-platform campaign including online video and a revamped recruitment website has done its intended job.  According to the client, the number of applicants in the first year almost doubled from pre-campaign levels with a dramatic improvement in the quality of the applicants.

The Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.  The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
